The Dentist

On Tuesday the 24th of November I went to the dentist.  On the way I saw Mrs Dunlop.  I waved to her.  We are now at the dentist.  I let Jimmy go first because I'm too scared!

The Amazing Frankley School Gala.

On Sunday the 8th of November Dad, Jimmy and I went to the school gala. First we went to the sweets and I got a yummy  sherbet and Jimmy got a yummy marshmallow on a stick. Then we went to a yellow tent to get the Frankley bucks. Jimmy, Dad and I went to the amazing  water walk and I saw Georgia. Jimmy went in a giant soccer ball and I went in a giant pink ball. Jimmy and I were CRASHING  into each other! Then we went to the coconut smash “Oh no” screamed Jimmy. “We missed. Never mind”. Now we’re at the big dig. Yay,  I dug up a stick. My stick is purple and Jimmy’s stick is orange. I just got 1 freddo frog and Jimmy got a big box of nerds! I was very angry, so Dad let  me have another go. Daddy found another orange stick. Yay! I got a box of nerds! “Now it’s time to go see mummy and show her all our goodies” said Greer.

Then  Zac gave me a purple bag from lucky squares. “Thank you” I said. I decided to put all my goodies in my purple bag. I went to do mini golf next. I was only allowed 3 shots, but I got 4 shots instead! Jimmy won a prize! I have to win a prize as well, I thought. On my last shot I won. I am a very lucky winner. I got an awesome Hip Hop note-book. We went to Room 3 and I got my awesome pillow cover with awesome skulls and swords on it. I had a great time at the gala. I wish we could have the carnival  every 2nd day, and school every 1st day. I was very happy. I said “That was the best day I’ve ever had. Thanks Dad”!

Jimmy's Bizarre Beanstalk

Last year Jimmy was playing with beads. Then he got a red bead. He decided to plant the red bead. Jimmy buried it. In the night it grew and the next night it grew too!  The next day it was the size of our door!!! The next day it grew into 5 plants.Then it leaned, leaned and leaned, until it flopped over! Jimmy was very disappointed.  My Mum had to pull the plant’s out. Jimmy had a funeral with his Teddy and Snuggles.

Battle of the Mountains techniques

Room 3 has been learning about painting techniques.

I have learnt about a lot of techniques I’ll tell you them:

 

Dabbing,

Finger printing,

Wash,

Swiping and

Color mixing.

I used swiping, dabbing and colour mixing for my mountains. I used green for Pihanga, red for Tongariro, light blue for Taranaki, brown for Putauaki and orange for Tauhara and Ruapehu and Ngauruhoe are gold.
